No. AGENTÉ.NG is not a traditional estate agency. We are a technology-powered real estate matchmaking platform that facilitates secure and efficient connections between property seekers and verified real estate professionals.

Unlike conventional listing platforms, AGENTÉ.NG uses a Reverse Marketplace Model. Rather than users chasing listings, verified agents and landlords respond directly to property requests. This reduces scams, saves time, improves transparency, and increases the chances of faster closed deals.

We currently focus on Nigeria, with plans to expand across Africa.

Anyone can freely search for properties of their choice without creating an account. However, to place a Demand Order, prioritise an order, or receive notifications, you must create an account. Account creation is free and takes less than 1 minute.

A Demand Order is simply a property request specifying the type of property you want, your preferred location, budget, and features. The order is automatically sent to verified agents and landlords with matching properties in your chosen location, who then send you matching properties. It takes less than 1 minute to create and attracts a small fee of ₦500 per order.

A Priority Order is created when a Demand Order is submitted as a Priority Order. The service attracts a small fee of ₦1,000 per order.

Yes. We implement identity verification and screening processes to reduce fake listings, scams, and unprofessional conduct.

Our goal is to help users secure suitable properties within 72 hours, depending on the availability of matching properties and the responsiveness of the parties involved.

Traditional property search and basic property matching services are free, while Demand Order, Priority Order, and Notification services may attract service charges.

Some property providers may initially upload limited information. However, AGENTÉ.NG encourages complete and transparent property information to improve trust and user experience.

You can contact the assigned agent or property provider directly through the platform’s in-app communication system.

We strongly advise users to:

Yes. There are three categories of agents on Agenté.ng, depending on the level of security they provide:

• UnverifiedAgents yet to complete their identity verification. Their accounts are tagged “UNVERIFIED”.
• VerifiedAgents whose identities have been verified. Their accounts are tagged “VERIFIED”.
• InsuredVerified agents who have also obtained and submitted a professional indemnity. Their accounts are tagged “INSURED”.

Yes. Agents, landlords, developers, and property managers can register and respond to property requests from serious clients. The registration process includes identity verification.

Yes. Registration of agents on the portal is free. However, to become a Verified Agent and win the trust of property hunters, certain personal details — including NIN, valid ID, utility bill, and recent personal photographs — are required. The process attracts a verification fee of ₦20,000 for individuals and ₦50,000 for corporates, renewable every 3 years.

Verification helps create a safer and more trusted marketplace. Property seekers are more confident dealing with verified agents, reducing the risk of fraud, fake listings, and unprofessional conduct.

Once verified, your profile and property listings will display a Verified Badge. This increases credibility, builds client trust, and improves your chances of attracting serious renters and buyers.

Once a user submits a matching property request, qualified agents and landlords receive notifications and can respond directly through the platform.

You will receive notifications via your dashboard, email, or other enabled communication channels.

Properties can be uploaded through your agent dashboard by completing the property submission form and attaching relevant property details and photographs.

Listing limits depend on your subscription plan or account category.

Different subscription packages may have different photo upload limits to ensure platform efficiency and quality control.

Our demand-driven system connects agents directly with serious renters and buyers who are actively searching for properties, reducing wasted inspections and unqualified leads.

Yes. AGENTÉ.NG offers free or premium registration plans, with the free tier providing limited access to platform features and listings.

There are two billing models. The first is the periodic SUBSCRIPTION MODEL, in which you are billed periodically based on your selected package and payment preference. The second is the LEAD MODEL, in which you fund your wallet with any amount but are only charged when you unlock the contact in a Lead (Matching Order). An agent can choose either or both options.

A lead costs only 0.01% of the rent or purchase price of the property, while there are four subscription packages to choose from.

Yes. Users can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel eligible subscription plans, subject to platform terms and conditions.

Yes. Certain advanced tools, premium visibility options, verification services, or promotional features may require additional payments.

Yes. By clicking the REPORT button on your dashboard, you can report any agent whom you are sure has listed a fake property, quoted a false price, or committed any unethical conduct. Where your report is supported by verifiable evidence, the agent may be suspended, downgraded, or have their account permanently blocked.

Yes. By clicking the LEGAL FORMS button on your dashboard, you can either reach out to a lawyer or pay for any legal forms of your choice, including Tenancy Agreements, Lease Agreements, Deeds of Assignment, and others.
